All visitors to Thailand are keen to experience traditional Thai massage. It is always difficult however to find someone who can offer you the best experience. Massage tends to differ from person to person. Whilst most masseuse will stick to a traditional routine, the way that it is actually administered is extremely variable.
A Masseuse will usually ask if you want your massage to be 'light' or 'strong' and only you can make that choice. If it is too light ask for stronger and if too strong request lighter. A good massage is relaxing and refreshing at one and the same time. You may even fall asleep whilst it is taking place.
In the city of Pattaya in Thailand there are literally hundreds of massage parlours. Some good and some not so good. In central Pattaya 'Jit Massage' offers one of the best massages at a reasonable price.
If however you are staying in the Naklua area your best choice would be D & K Traditional Thai Massage. The girls here previously worked in Jit Massage and branched out on their own and are extremely good at what they do.
They specialise in Thai, Oil and Foot Massage, the most expensive of which is the Oil Massage and still remarkably reasonable at 300 Thai Baht for an hour.

You may well get a discount but to be honest I don't know what name the girls there know me by. More likely to be along the lines of Pooah Duan...but I could not be sure.
Peter - my wife and the women with us loved to be massaged by toes on their back and for a pittance. For mother's day, here in LA, we looked for the same. Not. And an hour of hand massage here cost $180 + 20% tip. You could get a year's worth of toeing in Thailand for that. David Russell
I agree David. Wonderful experience. I have only ever had one woman who was small enough to walk up and down on my back. She had truly magical toes. When I last talked with her she was asking my advice on which of the several proposals of marriage she should take. Of course it wasn't all the toes. She was more than pretty and spoke three languages fluently....never did try her cooking.
